KPS technologies reduce fuel consumption, improve engine efficiency and reduce engine emissions.
These include:
- Providing clients with low-cost Natural Gas (displacing Diesel) engine conversions which reduce greenhouse gas emissions;
- Development of retro-fit innovations that increase generation efficiency;
- Co-development of bespoke waste heat recovery technologies to enhance generation capacity and cost; and
- Proven ability to complete solar/diesel hybrid power at mining operations.
In this context, KPS has an ongoing program of new technology investigation, practical development and implementation to minimise mine operating costs.
KPS is focused on reducing greenhouse gas per unit of electricity generated from its power stations by technology development that will deliver a cost competitive reduction in direct CO2 emissions, improve fuel efficiency and maintain a differentiating competitive advantage from other contract power providers.
